What is the E-design Service?

E-design is an online interior design service where I can provide you with ideas for a room refresh or complete redesign. Whether your budget is large or small I will provide you with a look to suit your style and requirements.

How do I get started?

Once you have placed your order I will send you a link so that you can tell me as much about the space as possible and what your goals are for the space. Simply complete the questionnaire and include photographs and dimensions of the space and any furniture you want to keep, together with links to any new pieces that inspire you or you would like to include within your budget.

What happens next?

I will arrange for us to have a call to discuss your project so I can gain a deeper understanding of your requirements. The initial onboarding consultation (via telephone or video) is included in the Classic, Superior and Deluxe packages and if you like, you can show me around your space! Following this I will create a mood board which has an online collaboration tool making it easy for you to feed back your likes and dislikes.

How do we stay in touch during the design stages?

The e-design process is all online and you can easily interact with me via the online collaboration board. As soon as I respond you will receive an email notification. We can also arrange a telephone or video calls* as required.

Are Consultation calls included?

*Consultation calls are limited to an ‘overall time’ depending on your chosen package. However, if you would like additional consultation time it will be charged at an hourly rate.

Will I need floorplans?

If you have chosen either of the package that include a 2D floor plan, it will help you to understand the furniture placement and if your package includes a Visualisation, the 3D renders will give a representation how your room will look when all the design is pulled together.

How do I shop the look?

I will provide you with links for you to order any of the products either directly with the retailer at your leisure. If I can get any of the individual items cheaper for you, I would advise you of a discounted rate if ordered through Labode.

Do I have to buy the products you suggest?

You are under no obligation whatsoever to buy the items I suggest. I will show you where you can buy the products I have selected to keep within the budget you are comfortable with. I do suggest setting your budget for £1,500 or more to get the best out of a new design but I will work within your budget to create a space that you love.

Can you help me with structural changes?

Whilst you can use me as a sounding board to discuss potential ideas to change the internal layout of your home, I cannot advise you on any major structural changes. You would need to speak to an Architect or Structural Engineer for that kind of thing.

Can I still get in touch with you when I’m trying to recreate the design in my home?

Yes of course! I will provide you with some tips to create your new design however if you have any questions at the end, you can still use the collaboration tool for a few months or I am also available via email. We can also arrange a telephone/video, but please note that consultation time outside of the package ‘allowance’ is charged at my hourly rate.

Do you want photographs of my finished room?

Oh yes please!! I would be absolutely delighted to see your room once you have completed the look! I would also love your feedback so that I can use your testimonials on LABODE’s website (with your permission of course) and to share with others that are considering my service.

What if I have a complaint?

I hope that with regular communication we can discuss any queries as we go along as I want to help you achieve the space you’ve longed for. However, if there’s anything about the service you’re not happy with, please let me know as soon as possible so that I can help you in the best way I can.
