General T&C’s
Interior Design Services
Drawings, schematics, 3D renderings, floorplans and other visual representations and digital images (“Drawings”) provided by the company as a part of a design service are for the purposes of illustrating design concepts only. They are not intended to be used for architectural, engineering, plumbing, electrical or any other specialist, professional or utility purpose. Drawings are the property of the company and cannot be used by the client for any purpose other than the completion of the project in question by the company.
Limits of the Company’s Services
The company’s services do not include any valuation, estate agency, architecture, engineering, plumbing, electrical, legal, tax or other specialist advice or services. It is the client’s responsibility to engage specialists to obtain such advice and services where appropriate, together with any permits and approvals required in connection with those projects or services.
General Disclaimer
While the company will provide its services and give advice and recommendations in good faith, they shall not be responsible for any negligence or mistake which gives rise to loss or damage to the client or to the client’s property, or any property under the client’s control, whether arising out of the giving of advice or the conduct of the services or any defective work, products, materials or otherwise, including where caused by suppliers introduced to the client or used in the provision of the services.
Payment Terms
Online Interior Design Packages
Fees of online interior design packages are payable in advance and are not refundable unless the company fails to provide the deliverables for the relevant package within 30 days of payment being made by the client, in which case the client may give 7 working days’ notice to terminate. Unless the package deliverables are received by the client within such 7 working days, the contract shall terminate and the company shall refund the client the fee for the package without undue delay. However the fact that the client does not like the deliverables and/or decides not to use any or all of the elements of the design package shall not be a failure to deliver and the fee shall not be refundable
Other Services
Pricing and fees will be confirmed at the time a proposal is accepted by the client. Depending on the nature of the service or project, additional fees may be charged on an hourly, half-day or daily rate or may be proposed on a fixed price basis.
Any estimate by the company of the time a project will take to complete shall be made in good faith but shall not be binding.
Unless a proposal is subject to a fixed fee, the company will advise the client in a timely manner if the estimate for completion of the project is likely to be exceeded. Where a fixed fee had been agreed, this shall apply to the original work scope only.
Should the client require modifications, additions or other changes to the work scope, design, products, materials or other component part of the agreed proposal, then such changes shall not form part of the contract unless and until agreed by both parties in writing together with such additional fee as may be agreed as appropriate.
Any changes to pricing from third party suppliers or contractors are outside the control of the company.
For services other than Online Interior Design packages (where the entire fee shall be payable in advance), a down payment may be required on the acceptance by the client of a proposal or a booking for services, which will be payable in advance and will not be refundable provided the company is ready willing and able to commence the services in accordance with the proposal/booking. The further payment schedule will be specified in the services proposal accepted by the client. In the absence of any specific schedule.
Invoices must be paid no later than 14 days after submission by the company. Interest will be chargeable on unpaid amounts.
Payment will be by bank transfer unless otherwise agreed. Bank details will be provided by the company.
Refunds and Cancellation of Goods or Materials
Items ordered in connection with an approved design, project, proposal or any other service are the responsibility of the client once ordered (including whilst in transit). Any refund or cancellation cannot be guaranteed and will depend on individual items and circumstances.
Any additional time spent by the company in pursuing a refund or cancellation or any other such issue shall be chargeable to the client and the company cannot guarantee a successful outcome.
Information, Data Collection and Privacy
The company will use information you provide to the company for the purpose of providing the services.
By entering into an agreement with the company for a service you agree to us retaining your name, address, email address, contract telephone numbers and other information that is needed for the purposes of providing the services efficiently and effectively and administering the contract between us and in accordance with our Privacy Policy (below).
Your personal information will only be provided to third parties to the extent necessary in connection with providing the services or obtaining project estimates, where required. This may include third party contractors or retailers in connection with obtaining goods, contractor services and materials or ascertaining their prices.
The company will not use testimonials from the client or photographs of the client’s property without the consent of the client. However, the client understands that the Company may refer to services provided and results achieved in the normal course of explaining services for business purposes and shall be allowed to use Drawings from any proposal as illustrations of its work, without identifying the client.
Privacy Policy
1. Your information will only be used for the purposes explained in the main Terms and Conditions.
2. Your data will be held securely
3. We will only keep your data for as long as is reasonable for the purposes explained and as required for legal and regulatory purposes and requirements
4. You may request to know what information we hold on you. You may request the removal of your information except insofar as we require to retain it for the proper administration of any contract, the resolution of any disputes and/or as required by law or taxation regulations
5. We will review this policy and the data held by us on clients periodically and remove any data for which the purpose has expired.
6. If you have submitted a form, you will be added to our Newsletter but can unsubscribe at any time.
